About this class

Welcome to Floristry – a class for those with a little or no floristry experience. This is a relaxed class where we overcome any fears you may have with regard to floristry. We will cover the basic techniques required to create beautiful designs. In the morning session, we will discuss where to source and purchase flowers and foliage and how to condition your flowers. We will then create a table arrangement learning the basic principles of design. Following lunch, we will discuss where to source sundries and create a basic hand-tied bouquet – probably the most used design in commercial floristry. The course includes all tuition and materials. You will be able to take both your designs home with you. Refreshments will be available but please bring a packed lunch.
